Our Andy’s Gone With Cattle Now …

… and he’s real pleased with his new three-trailer 62-wheeler road train with a 500-hp Mack up front. He’s got about 170 big brahmans on board. The cab is air-conditioned, and he’s got a whole stack of his favourite music in his iPod. He can play it through the truck’s quad-speaker hi-fi as loud as he likes – which is pretty loud. He’ll SMS us as soon as he gets into range, and we expect he’ll be home by tomorrow night ‘cause he wants to watch the footy on our big-screen tele.

Droving’s not what it used to be.

    I have been involved with droving both ways. I have been in road trains many times and even driven one once. Love Outback Australia!
