Whilst twitchers are euphoric, there is speculation as to whether the government will have to introduce budgie culling in Outback areas of Australia. Poor budgies! Their “plague” is a natural occurence in Oz. Even in their thousands they drink a miniscule amount compared to the water that evaporates all day every day. Give ’em a break!
